Spilling the Beans… and What’s Next?

Hormone Harmony - what's next

I’ve been pretty quiet in my community for the last few months and that’s been very intentional. In March, my husband of 25 years and I split up. And quite frankly, I haven’t had the bandwidth to do much with my business. Fortunately, most of the negotiating is over and I’m starting to feel like I can actually take a peek above ground and begin to get back in the swing of things.

The events of the last 6 months have also caused me to pause and take a good look at my business and how I’m spending my time. And I’ve realized that some changes are needed.

I’ve spent 7 years creating and building my free Facebook group, the Hormone Harmony Club. It’s taken a ton of my time and energy to serve this community which now has grown to over 10,000 members. Unfortunately, it has become many of the things I really wanted to avoid when I started it and the size at this point makes it unlikely that I can steer it in the direction I want to go.

What’s Next For Hormone Harmony?

When I began the group, I wanted a place where women could come to escape all the negativity around perimenopause and menopause. Heaven knows, there are plenty of other groups for that. I wanted to create a safe space where we could have conversations about all aspects of women’s health and the perfectly normal and healthy thing that the menopause transition is. I wanted to coach women, share the latest science and do some fun activities designed to elevate the mindset of menopause. That’s what we did in the beginning and it was FUN for me! Now, it’s just like many of the other groups and it’s time to re-evaluate the time and effort I put into it.

So here is what will happen in September. I’ll be archiving the Hormone Harmony group at the end of September. This means that I will no longer be posting or answering questions. The information that is there will remain, but you won’t be able to post and I won’t be accepting new members. I know this will upset some of you and I understand. If you want free information, I have a blog at www.drannagarrett.com for that. If you want another low-priced option, I have a book for that. You can find it here: www.perimenopausebook.com.

I AM starting a new membership called Hormone Harmony with Dr. Anna Garrett. I have given much thought and consideration to how I can serve women who are willing to invest in themselves at a price point that is truly affordable and this is what I have come up with. The goal is to serve YOU well AND to make it cost-effective for my business. Win-win. You can get all the details here.

I appreciate everyone who has been a part of the Hormone Harmony Club. Making this decision wasn’t easy, but I’m doing a lot of hard things these days. I feel real joy when I think about what is to come with the changes in my business. I hope you’ve found value in being a part of the community that has been created and that you’ll come along with me as I transition to this new adventure!
